“It’s still pretty weird, no matter how I look at it,” Sokka mutters under his breath, averting his gaze from the angry pair who are sparring near him. Turning to the blind female sitting on a rock next to him, he continues, “I mean, they obviously loathe each other, but…”
“They don’t loathe each other,” Toph counters, grinning as chews thoughtfully on a piece of greenery found near her sitting location. “They’re just not the Prince Charming and Cinderella of your conventional love story.”
A hastily created slab of rock shields them from an incoming fireball.
Unconventional love story? Whatever.
